Life and Ministry
All Church Fellowship Meal following the church service today.  All are invited.

Ozark Music Festival ConcertCarols by Candlelight” featuring the Ozark Music Festival Choir, Band and Strings will be tonight Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gentry Church.
Gilbert Bible Study cancelled until January.  Watch for further notice.
Live Walk-through Nativity Event on Friday evening, Dec. 8, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on the campus of Ozark Adventist Academy.  Please invite your friends and neighbors for this FREE event.  We only ask you to bring a non- perishable food item for the TLC.  For details call or email. 479-736-2221 or
Dorm Daughter Reveal tomorrow, Dec.3 from 5:00-7:00p.m. at the youth center. .Bring a dish to share for a light meal and a small gift for your dorm daughter.  If you can not attend please let Bonnie Pendergrass know.
TLC Food Pantry Needs  Donations would be appreciated for peanut butter, jelly, and non-perishable food items.  You may drop them off at the church office or put in the little wood box in the hall.
OAA Breakfast Come fellowship with the academy students, Dec. 9, at the monthly breakfast provided by the Gentry church. Your donations are greatly appreciated - call 828-989-1855 to see how you can contribute.

First of the Month Women’s Ministry Event  We will be having the first of the month meeting after potluck today on Dec. 2, in the Community room. (Around 1:30 p.m.) Please bring a small gift  (under $5.00) as part of a game (not white elephant). Please wrap your gift!

Up-Coming Event for Everyone.  You may stop by the church office and pick up your ticket for the Christmas Banquet and Concert at John Brown University on Thursday, Dec. 14 from 6-8 p,m,  The meal will be catered by JBU and enjoy the concert by the group - Mark 209.  Please bring a gift to donate to the Women’s Shelter. Sabbath School Helpers Needed  If you are able to play the piano, tell a story, or just supervise, we could use your help in the Children’s Sabbath School divisions.  Contact Cathy Lambert or call the church office if you could help out.

Books  We will no longer be accepting used books for the Gentry Church Library.

Remember Frances Miller and her family in your prayers during the untimely death of her grandson Paul, son of Carter Miller.

Women’s Devotional Books  If you did not get your order placed we have 5 extra copies in the church office.  Stop by during office hours.

Social Committee Event, Dec. 9 beginning with the Gentry parade at 6:30.  Following the parade, there will be refreshments at the OAA Ad building lobby around 7:30.  Stay for a movie in the OAA auditorium from 8:30-9:45 p.m..  Come and bring your family for a fun filled evening.

For centuries Ukraine’s fertile farmlands have earned it the title of “global breadbasket.” It is one of the world’s largest grain exporters.  The country also as a large industrial sector.
Residents of some parts of Ukraine suffer from serious air and water pollution, and thousands have died from radiation poisoning and cancer following the 1986 explosion of a nuclear reactor at the Chernobyl power station in Ukraine.
