Life and Ministry
All Church Fellowship Meal following the church service today. If you are visiting with us today please join us at the youth center.
God’s House Update We were very blessed with your generous Christmas tree offering in Dec. We were able to order the new carpet for the Community Room. The room will be painted and the carpet will match what in in the hallway. Another project will be painting the Young Adult classroom. You will continue to see improvements made as you support God’s House. We have several more areas that need new carpet.
Physical Plant Meeting will be Feb. 11, at 6:30 p.m. Please mark your calendar. Your attendance would be appreciated.
Memorial Service for Wanda Young will be this afternoon, at 3:00 p.m. at the Gentry Church. Keep the Young family in your prayers.
Women’s Ministry monthly event on Feb. 3 will be CANCELLED due to the memorial service.
Come and Go Baby Shower for Derek and Courtney Timms and their new baby girl, Rainey Paige. Come to the Community room on Feb. 4, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. to celebrate with them. They are registered at Wal-Mart and in need of clothing in sizes 6 months and larger. There will also be a money tree at the shower for gift cards or cash.
Pettey Bible Study Group will meet on Sabbath, Feb. 10, at 3:00 p.m. at the Pettey home. Bring the book Last Day Events. For more information call 479-238-3307. We will be watching Pilgrims Progress in the evening.
Save Your Labels Save the labels from the cans of Worthington/Loma Linda, and Loma. The company gives $.25 for each label and Cedar Lake give $.05 for each label. Do not save the frozen food labels. Also, save box tops for Education. The money for the labels goes to the for conference a special project. The Box Top labels go to the elementary school.
Ozark Adventist Academy presents Thunder on Sycamore Street on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. at the OAA Auditorium. The play follows three families one evening as the neighborhood prepares for a confrontation. Arthur Hays struggles with the decision he and his family and the neighborhood had made. What will he choose to do? Stay with the mob or defend his neighbor? Come and find out!!! Tickets are $5 per person and are available in advance the OAA Business Office or at the door.
