Memorial Service this afternoon, Dec. 8 for Steve Morris who recently passed away The Morris family joined our church this past summer and your prayers are appreciated for his family during this difficult time.

Women’s Ministry Sponsored Christmas Event Mark your calendar for Sunday, Dec. 16, for a Christmas concert by Mark 209.  This includes all men and women.  Concert will begin at 6:00 p.m. Donations would be appreciated.

COATS!  Women’s Ministries will continue the drive for all warm clothing till Dec. 31.   The Genesis House in Siloam Springs is thrilled to have these to pass out to the homeless.  We have appreciated your participation in providing for those in need.

Nativity Planning  We are continuing to build the nativity scenes this Sunday Dec. 9, We will meet at 9:00 a.m.  There are many things to be done so come even if you can only stay a short time.

Social Activity this evening, Dec. 8.  We will be going to the Gentry Christmas Parade in downtown Gentry which begins at 6:30 p.m.  After that, we will join the academy in the OAA Auditorium for a Christmas movie.  Come and enjoy the fun!

Mexican Dinner Fundraiser!! Our Ozark Adventist School Basketball Teams will be selling Tamales and Pupusas with rice and beans on Friday, December 14th at noon in the Youth Center.
A plate will include two tamales or 2 pupusas with rice and beans for $6.50 or single items for $2 ea.ch. Please pre-order by Thursday, December 14th by calling or texting Samrina Cox at 479-220-2184. Thank you!

Devotional Books for 2019 This year all orders for devotional books will be placed with Sleepy Hollow.  If you would like to see a sample of the adult evening and morning books you may stop by the church office

Outdoor Walk through Nativity- From Christmas to the Cross In an effort to share the real Gift of Christmas with our neighbors, we will be collecting non-perishable food items to contribute to the local food pantry, the Total Life Community Center, in Siloam Springs, AR.  This center distributes food weekly to multiple local families in need. Let’s share Christmas with our community in this tangible way as we show Christ’s love through our actions. Several golf carts will be available for those unable to walk through so that all may participate.  Refreshments will also be served.  If you have any further questions, you may call Judy Fetters at (804)874-9430 or email: euglena1370@yahoo.com. We hope that you can come and create a family tradition as you step back in time and travel from “Christmas to the Cross”!   Dec. 14 – 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Dec. 15- 2:00-5:00 p.m.

 

Christmas Music Concert and Game Night Dec. 22, 6-8 p.m. in the Community Room.  The Keyboard Ensemble featuring Sherri Fandrich, Jayme Stabel, Micah Norwood, and Marti Cash, along with family and friends will present an evening of music, sing-a-long carols, games and fun.  You are to invited to bring your favorite instrument and join in playing the sin-a-long carols.  Pla to join in the fun of the fast moving competitive fames by playing and sheering your group on to the winners circle.  This is one fun night you don’t want to miss.!
