All Church Fellowship Meal today following the church service.  All visitors are invited.

Church Office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3 for Labor Day.

Pastor Appreciation is coming soon (Oct. 14).  We have a special fund for this event if you would like to contribute to show your appreciation.  Mark your tithe and offering envelope “Pastor Appreciation.”

Pathfinder’s First Meeting  will be Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Prayer and Fasting, We are encouraging all members to fast and pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit every Wed. Come at 7:00 p.m. to study the book, Steps to Personal Revival beginning Sept. 5. If you need a book contact John and Joyce. This is in preparation for the “Appearing” Evangelistic Meeting revival beginning Oct. 11.  “They (people of God) should set aside days for fasting and prayer.  Entire abstinence from food may not be required, but they should eat sparingly of the most simple food.”  CD 189.

 Game Night in the Youth Center on next Saturday night Sept. 8 at 7:15p.m. We will begin with vespers with  basketball, volleyball, and table games to follow.  Bring snacks to share.  All ages are welcome!

 Ladies Eat Out on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 12:30.  We will meet at Angelino’s restaurant in Siloam Springs.  All women are welcome to come and have a great time together.  Address is 2001 US-412, Siloam Springs, AR.

Women’s Ministry End of Summer Event Ice Cream Social on Sunday, Sept. 2,  2:00 p.m. at Wellness Secrets.  Please bring your favorite topping.  Wellness Secrets will be making our vegan ice cream.  We will be serving cookies and brownies, etc.  Your children are also invited.  This will take the place of our first Saturday of the month meeting. Please RSVP to Dona Young.

Also please bring several items to bag up for the homeless people.  Here is a list of items that are needed.

Arkansas Louisiana Conference Teen Leadership Training Conference is scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 28-30 at Camp Yorktown Bay.  Registration is open to any and all teens ages 13-19 years who wish to build their leadership skills.  Guest speaker will be LoAmmi Richardson of “SALT Ministries.

Thank You from Jessica and Chris Vejnar for the baby shower and gifts.  This also includes a thank you to those of you that sent gifts from the registry.  Some came through with any names. Our baby was very blessed with your thoughtfulness!

 

Former OAA Music teacher/organist Jerry Taylor passed away on Monday, Aug. 27. He began his teaching career at Ozark Academy and served as organist for the General Conference sessions and minister of music at the Kettering SDA Church.
