Announcements for July 22, 2023

Prayer Meeting Wed. evening 7:00 p.m.  Study is on the Book of Matthew.

 

Pastor will be on vacation July 21-28.

 

2023-2024 Budget is on the greeter stands. Please review for a vote to be taken next Sabbath.

 

Mark your Calendar for the evangelistic meetings coming Aug. 4-Sept. 2.  We will need volunteers for registration team and refreshment team helpers. Contact the church office if you are available. 

 

Christmas in July?  Yes, that’s right!  Women’s Ministries (but everyone is encouraged to participate) is gathering items for the senior residents at the Siloam Nursing and Rehab center.  We will be collecting hand lotion, shower gel and warm socks during the month of July.  A box will be placed by both entrances for your donations.  Thank you in advance for bringing a smile to the nursing home residents.

 

Women’s Ministry is collecting soda pop tabs as a fundraiser to benefit the Ronald McDonald House for parents of sick children.  We are helping a little girl from our area name Delkin that was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.  Please deposit tabs in the glass containers on both entrances.

 

OAA Students Move Into the Dorms on Sun., Aug. 13 from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  If you would like to come and help the new students move into the dorm, this would be a good opportunity for you to get acquainted with the students and welcome them to our campus.  I’m sure they would appreciate some extra hands to make the move in easier. 

 

Ozark Adventist School Registration Day.  We would like to invite all new, returning and interested parents to come and hear the wonderful plans for this upcoming school year on August. 3, at 6:00 p.m.  Ozark Adventist School.  21150 Dawn Hill East Road. Women’s Ministry Activity If you would like to participate in the Christmas in July program and go sing a few songs and pass out the gifts on Saturday, July 29 to the residents of the Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab after a luncheon provided by Ellie Gil, please RSVP by Wednesday July 26 to Ellie 225-313-5481

 

BUBBLES BUBBLES!!   During the month of August Women’s Ministry will be collecting bubble’s to pass out at the Gentry Park after a Sabbath afternoon picnic.  We will have fun activities to share.  Everyone is welcomed to participate.

 

Summer Activities for Kids

 

Tue. July 25  10:00  a.m.-12 noon at the Katsuren home. We will have several activities to rotate through. Rock painting, obstacle course, marble run, marshmallows building, airplane target, etc.  Bring a lunch for a picnic.
