Baptism  Join us after the church service Sabbath at the creek to welcome Serenity and Parson Dalton to our membership as they dedicate their lives in baptism.

 

Prayer Meeting on Wed. evenings at 7:00 p.m.  Come join in the study of Matt. 6 :25-34.

 

Board Meeting on Monday evening, Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. All board members are encouraged to attend.

 

Harvest Tree It is that time of the year for us to remember our friends in need.  Every year we have appreciated your generous support for this project.  For next week bring canned tomatoes, canned tuna or chicken, and dish soap- 32 oz or less (no jugs)

 

Pathfinders will begin on Tuesday evening, Sept. 19, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. If you are a 5th grader or older please come and register and get ready for an exciting year. 

 

Funeral Service for Ted Stricker will be at Compass Fellowship on Sabbath afternoon, Sept. 16.  Visitation at 3:00 p.m. and service at 4:00 p.m.  Ted is the brother of Don Stricker and cousin to Bobby Stricker.  Note the date correction.

 

Senior Recognition Weekend  (Sept. 22,23)  OAA Seniors are celebrating their last year of high school with Senior Night with the Class of 2024 on Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. in the OAA auditorium. Please come out to celebrate the senior class of OAA. To help support the senior class, there will be a silent auction and a bake sale. Donations are accepted at the door.

 

Jr. Class Benefit Breakfast on Sept. 24 in the Youth Center from 7:30-9:30 a.m.  Plan to come and support the Junior Class for this fund raiser and also enjoy a delicious breakfast. 

 

It is with Great Sadness that Gerry Craddock has passed away.  She was a wonderful, caring person with many friends! The family is planning a "come and go" Celebration of her life at her son, Michael Craddock's home Sun., Sept. 24, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  A light lunch will be served.  Michael's address is  2309

All Dorm Dudes are adopted. For your convenience, gifts may be left on the gift table in the foyer or given directly to your dorm dude.   Mark your calendar for the Dorm Dude Dinner on Dec. 10, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Thank you for the positive impact you have on the lives of our OAA students!

 

Pickin’ Time on 59 - It is that time of year again... at the Total Life Community Center. Sept. 28 & 29. If you would like to help volunteer we would love to have you! It is a great time to work together, and even make new friends. If you are unable to help, but would like to donate items for this event, just let us know. This event is a great time to let go of some furniture items you may no longer need, as well as any other things you'd like to donate. Happy Pickin'!

 

Women’s Ministry is collecting soda pop tabs as a fundraiser to benefit the Ronald McDonald House for parents of sick children.  We are helping a little girl from our area name Deklyn that was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.  Please deposit tabs in the glass containers on both entrances.
