Prayer Meeting on Wed. evenings at 7:00 p.m.  Come join in the study of Matt. 7

 

Harvest Tree It is that time of the year for us to remember our friends in need.  Every year we have appreciated your generous support for this project.  For next week bring Canned Sweet Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Paper Towels,  and Body Soap.

 

Next all Church Fellowship Meal will be on Oct. 14. Plan to bring plenty of food. We will have Alumni weekend guests.

 

Save the Date  Wed. Oct. 4, at 12 noon, in the Community room. Come and potluck with Jeanette Pettey. Watch for further details.

 

Work Bee at the Pathfinder building this Sun., Sept. 24, at 9:00 a.m. to clean the building.  Bring cleaning supplies, rags, sponges, brooms, etc. Your help would be appreciated.

 

Senior Recognition/OAA Seniors are celebrating their last year of high school with Senior Night with the Class of 2024 on Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. Please come out to celebrate the senior class of OAA. To help support the senior class, there will be a silent auction and a bake sale. Donations are accepted at the door.

Thirteenth Sabbath School Program on Sabbath morning  Sept. 30, at 10:00 a.m.  We will have lesson study from 9:30-10:00 a.m. 

 

Sabbath School Counsel Meeting on Sabbath afternoon, Sept. 30, at 4:00 p.m.  All teachers and leaders plan to attend.

 

Jr. Class Benefit Breakfast on Sept. 24 in the Youth Center from 7:30-9:30 a.m.  Plan to come and support the Junior Class for this fund raiser and also enjoy a delicious breakfast. 

 

Part-Time Secretary position available at Ozark Adventist Elementary School.  The hours are 12:00 noon-4:00 p.m. at $14.50 an hour.  Please contact Tara Bailey, principal 903-521-2850 or tbailey@arklac.org.

 

Ozark Adventist School is also currently looking for classroom substitutes.

 

Gerry Craddock  Due to sickness the Celebration of Life for Gerry Craddock has been postponed, and will be scheduled for a later date.

 

All Dorm Dudes are adopted. For your convenience, gifts may be left on the gift table in the foyer or given directly to your dorm dude.   Mark your calendar for the Dorm Dude Dinner on Dec. 10, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Thank you for the positive impact you have on the lives of our OAA students!

 

Pickin’ Time on 59 - It is that time of year again... at the Total Life Community Center. Sept. 28 & 29. If you would like to help volunteer we would love to have you! It is a great time to work together, and even make new friends. If you are unable to help, but would like to donate items for this event, just let us know. This event is a great time to let go of some furniture items you may no longer need, as well as any other things you'd like to donate. Happy Pickin'!

 

Women’s Ministry is collecting soda pop tabs as a fundraiser to benefit the Ronald McDonald House for parents of sick children.  We are helping a little girl from our area name Deklyn that was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.  Please deposit tabs in the glass containers on both entrances.
